We had a very informative forum to discuss upcoming changes and events in our worship. this forum is new to us and gives everyone a chance to comment and vote on changes. Everyone is urged to attend these quartely forums. You do not need to be a vestry member to make a difference in your church.

This month we welcome a new ministry in our church. Starting March 21, we will have a Hispanic service every Sunday at noon. This service will be followed by lunch and we hope to see our Hispanic neighbors in fellowship with our current members. Welcome Father Peter

Summer is over, finally and all our winter people are coming back. We have a whole series of classes and activities starting now. We will be reopening our resale store soon. Proceeds benefit our outreach charities and church support. The bookstore has been enlarged and has been getting a lot of traffic through the summer. Winter schedule is in effect, services at 8 am and 10:30 am on Sunday with classes in between and services and classes on Wednesday. See our Services page for the full schedule.

We are into our new year now; at this time of year we have so many activities in our church. We continue our committment to Outreach and are looking to make changes to our current programs. In February, we will be looking at the direction we want our ECW to go. All suggestions are welcome and as you know, every woman is member of the ECW.
Also coming up in March is the Ministry Fair. There are programs of interest to everyone and we hope more people from our church will participate. Seems like the further away the church is, the more members they send. Something wrong with this picture.

We are into Advent now with our new rector, Mother Marty Connor. There will be changes as we get to know her and she gets to know us. What a perfect way to begin a new Advent year, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will all grow and grow our church.

We have a new rector!! Mother Marty will be starting with us the first Sunday in Advent. What a hopeful way to begin a new year. We are going to miss Father Bill, we always felt that he loved us and enjoyed his time with us. Thank you from our heart for taking such good care of us.

Our newsletter has been online in our web page for several months now. You can access it by using the newsletter link in the navigation bar or the quick link on the opening page. The Ministry Fair was very informative. I wish I could have attended more of the workshops and I am looking forward to next year. For those of us who live in the West Valley, the location is so convenient.

We continue our search for a new rector and expect our church profile to be posted on the web as soon as it is ready. We survived Lent and are heading into our quiet and hot summer. Bon Voyage to the members who leave us every summer. Have a safe trip and we look forward to seeing you in the fall.
